The heat of the summer brings a stunning selection of locally grown flowers for our state. During this time, we primarily begin to source from outside of the valley. Turning our focus to flower sources in the high desert allows for us to have beautiful summer flowers. I would event argue that we have the most variety from June – September!

Summer Flowers and Your Wedding
If you are looking for a wildflower wedding or want to have a dahlia heavy wedding summertime is the season for you! For dahlias specifically, you want to have a later summer wedding.
Many of the flowers you see on Pinterest for “wildflower wedding” or “summer/spirng weddings” are blooming in Arizona from June – September. Honestly, many of the spring flowers shown on Pinterest are seasonally late summer blooms. Because the flower industry sources globally, true seasonality gets lost in the shuffle.
While a summer wedding in the city may not be your thing, traveling north to Flagstaff or Sedona are popular wedding destinations for our summertime couples! We are eager for opportunities to escape the summer heat and are happy to travel.
