Arizona's Local Flowers
Our first blooms begin blooming each March! The true start to the season varies. Typically, by the end of the March we have enough blooms to source locally for our weddings and events.
Our 10 Favorite Spring Blooms
The first 5 flowers are the wonderful flowers that usher in the springtime, while the remaining 5 are those that signal it is late in the season.
1-5: Primarily blooming March – Early April.
6-10: April – June
This is just the general guide as Arizona has multiple growing zones allowing for each bloom to have an extended availability! For example, in central AZ I can only get tulips for a few weeks in March/ April. However, if I source from the northern part of the state, I can get tulips into the first few weeks of May.

Spring Flowers and Your Wedding
To have the best chance of a fully local flower design for your spring wedding in Arizona is to host your wedding in April or May!
Because March marks the start of our flower season, we cannot guarantee local flowers for a wedding within the first few weeks of that month! While we do our best to source as many local flowers as possible, sometimes nature has other plans for the season. With warmer temps lasting further into the year, our flower season appears to be shifting later and later each year. Regardless of your wedding date, Urban Desert Flora is committed to supporting local flowers before looking elsewhere!
